Hyperpigmentation Scar Cream Designed to Lighten Dark Scars
There’s no way to anticipate the appearance of a scar. Depending on the intensity of your accident or the overall damage done to your skin, a scar can appear as a small blemish or as a much darker, more visual area on your skin. It’s important to note that scars are damaged tissue, and while some damage might be done there are also ways to promote regrowth and healing within the same area.
Hyperpigmentation occurs when scars heal, and the damaged tissue starts to darken. During the early healing process, inflammation and oxidative damage activate melanocytes–cells that produce pigment. By stimulating these cells, more pigment is pushed into the area of a scar, causing its appearance to get darker over time. The extra pigment stores under the damaged tissue of a scar area can be persistent, but X•SCAR has products designed specially to prevent darkening of scars.
X•SCAR’s HQ hyperpigmentation cream features a combination of silicone, Vitamin E and antioxidants with the sole purpose of creating healthier skin. The X•SCAR HQ product also contains arbutin, a natural form of hydroquinone, which is a safe, effective way to lighten dark scars or skin tissue. In addition to the arbutin, X•SCAR’s hyperpigmentation cream contains kojic acid (4%) to act in tandem with the arbutin’s skin lightening effect. By combining the effects of both of these ingredients, X•SCAR HQ actively prevents the darkening of scars in non-Caucasian people. For people with darker skin–from an African American, Latino or Asian descent–X•SCAR’s hyperpigmentation cream facilitates proper healing, without the toxic and dangerous effects of other scar creams on the market.
Keep in mind that any product with skin lightening agents should be treated properly and carefully. For that reason, X•SCAR HQ is clinically tested and safe for public use on all different types of skin types and skin tones.
How to Get Rid of Dark Scars with X•SCAR’s Hyperpigmentation Cream
Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition where certain areas on the skin surface become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. Hyperpigmentation normally occurs when there’s an excess of melanin deposits in the skin. Because melanin is the pigment that produces skin color, extraneous amounts of melanin result in darker spots or areas. Although hyperpigmentation is not necessarily dangerous, the extra pigment stored under the skin can be persistent when it comes to scar tissue.
Instead of letting scars get darker over time, X•SCAR created a formula that specializes in hyperpigmentation–preventing the darkening of scars for all skin types, especially for those of non-Caucasian descent, such as African Americans, Latinos, Asians and more. Since there are not proper scar creams that specialize in treating scars on darker skin, X•SCAR’s HQ product was designed specifically for that purpose.
X•SCAR HQ is a silicone-based scar cream for darker scars and skin of color. Using an original formula created by a licensed dermatologist and facial plastic surgeon, X•SCAR HQ uses arbutin to lighten the areas affected by damaged scar tissue. Arbutin is a natural form of hydroquinone–an agent used to
decrease the formation of melanin in the skin–meaning it is safer and less toxic, but still retains the same skin lightening effects.
Like other X•SCAR products, X•SCAR HQ creates a thin layer of silicone over the scar tissue, effectively trapping in moisture and trapping out all other harmful, bacterial agents. This stimulates regrowth, while simultaneously rehydrating the damaged area in a safe, sterile environment. In addition to healing your scar over time, X•SCAR HQ also finds a way to make darker scars less visible over time.
Because of this, X•SCAR HQ provides a way to promote healthy skin growth–so that you can get rid of dark scars and start loving the skin you’re in.
The Most Common Types of Hyperpigmentation:
For people with varying skin tones, it can be difficult to find a product that suits your individual needs–especially when your scars are darker. X•SCAR HQ is a silicone-based scar cream that contains arbutin, a natural agent that lightens skin over time. When applied over a scar, X•SCAR HQ creates a contained environment for your scar to moisturize itself and heal–resulting in softer, lighter skin.
Age spots occur on the skin after prolonged exposure to the sun. Although age spots are typically harmless, the formations they leave behind can leave unwanted dark patches on your skin. X•SCAR HQ offers a way to encourage healthy growth of damaged scar tissue, while lessening the overall darkness of age spots and other dark formations.
Although melasma is a common skin problem, that does not mean that it’s untreatable. X•SCAR HQ lessens the darkness of scars over time, so that your skin can be the healthiest it can be. Using a special formula with silicone, Vitamin E, arbutin and kojic acid (less than 4%), X•SCAR HQ moistures, nourishes and helps scar tissue regrow–while reducing the darkness of visible scars.
In order to combat increased production of melanin, X•SCAR HQ designed an original formula that specializes in darker spots on people of all different skin types and tones. While nourishing and protecting your damaged scar tissue, X•SCAR HQ simultaneously lightens the affected area using a safe combination of arbutin and kojic acid to make your skin can regrow in a natural, healthy way.
X•SCAR Hyperpigmentation Cream FAQs:
How often do I have to apply my hyperpigmentation cream?
In order to receive the best possible results from your X•SCAR hyperpigmentation cream, you must apply the cream to the dark scar tissue 2-3 times daily for a year at the minimum. The longer you use your X•SCAR hyperpigmentation cream, the better the effects will be on your scar tissue. Be sure to massage the cream into your scar for at least 3 minutes during each application, and do not let it get wet! Water washes away the X•SCAR HQ scar cream, which will negate its effects and require you to redo the process.
When will my dark scars fade?
By using hyperpigmentation scar removal creams such as X•SCAR HQ, you are able to reduce the thickness and redness of your scars that are a year old or younger. If you follow the directions provided on each X•SCAR product carefully and apply the cream 2-3 times a day, your scar should start to fade over the course of the next several weeks. Be sure to massage the hyperpigmentation cream into the affected area for a minimum of 3 minutes for each application. We recommend using X•SCAR HQ consistently for one year to maximize your results.
